The Future
When God began opening doors for us to stay at our current location on Glenwood Avenue, we identified several phases or priorities that needed to happen in order for this plan to succeed.
- Purchase Property - At the beginning of 2004, the Lord made it possible for us to purchase land on Glenwood Avenue (the Alpine Ski Center and Days Inn).
- Locate Interim Worship Seating - While larger-scale plans for providing enough space for people were developed, we needed a place for the current overflow of people in worship services. The Lord provided for the purchase and redesign of the Delta Lake Center.
- Expand Children's Facilities - As more and more people come to join our fellowship, they bring their children as well (or sometimes the children bring the parents). Praise the Lord! The congregation has already approved the funding and construction plans for this building, which will be located adjacent to the existing building. Construction is set to begin on this building in fall of 2006.
- Build Permanent Worship Center - It's all about providing space for the people that God brings into our church and continuing the ministry that the Lord has laid upon our hearts. Because the Lord hasn't provided the funding for this building yet, we will hold off on this part of the plan until He does or until He provides another solution. We are confident that He knows what is best for us.
