Dear Friends and Family,
When Cathy and I made our first visit to Israel a couple of years ago, the experience overwhelmed us with a wide range of emotions as we stood in the places we had pictured in our minds for so long. For those who love the Lord and His Word, there is nothing quite like being in the middle of the land where He chose to reveal His redemptive plan for His people.
Now we have the opportunity to invite you to join us on a tour of the Holy Land. We are hosting a trip May 4-13, 2009 in order to share our delight with you. For those special days, we will see and learn and experience so much together as the Lord builds into each one of us a deeper, more profound understanding of the geographical and historical setting for the Scriptures. Since our visit, our reading and study of God’s Word comes alive in new and wonderful ways as we remember what we saw and learned.
We are praying that you will consider this journey with us. Life does not come with many guarantees but we promise that you will not be disappointed if you decide to join us. Along the way, we will not only visit various sites around the Sea of Galilee, the Dead Sea wastelands and familiar scenes in Jerusalem, but we will take time each day to process what we are seeing as we look to the Scriptures together.
This can be a life-changing encounter as we allow the Lord to ignite our passion for His truth and the glory of His name in such an awesome place. We hope you will be able to join us!
