Some people are irreligious; others are religious. Some people run far away in rebellion; others stay close to home in religion, but everyone is far from God.
Throughout the Old Testament we find God commanding the Israelites to destroy entire groups of people. Many Christians struggle to align this brutality to a God who so loved that He gave His only Son.
