Children's Ministries

KidCheck

Children’s Ministry is excited to introduce KidCheck as the next step in security and convenience for our families.

What is KidCheck?

KidCheck is an electronic check-in system that will be used at Providence to expedite check in procedures any time your child attends a Children’s Ministry function at the church. This new system will provide added security while your child is at church and eliminate the need to fill out forms at the room.

Why KidCheck?

The Children’s Ministry staff desires to keep our ministry safe. We have chosen KidCheck because it is easy enough for elementary children to use and it is safe enough to flag children with the most life-threatening allergies.

Why Will Parents Like It?

Parents have control over their account. You can give as much information about your child as you desire. This includes medical information, how you can be reached in an emergency and which members of your family may pick up your children from their classroom.

Once you’ve created your account checking in will be easy.  You can use your ten digit telephone number or we will give you an ID card (similar to a grocery discount card) which will check in your family. Once you have checked in, a nametag and a corresponding claim check will print out for all of your children. That’s right! you will get one receipt with all your children listed. If Mom and Dad each want a receipt, KidCheck will print a duplicate.

At the check-in station, automated claim stickers will be generated for children ages 4 and younger. There will be no more standing at the door filling out claim check stickers.

Elementary age children can check themselves in, only if you have given them permission.

There will be check in stations throughout the church building to accommodate your entry point. For the first several weeks we will have helpers at the check in stations to answer any questions you may have.
