D Groups
Our Discipleship Groups (D Groups) are designed to be a source of encouragement and equipping. Encouragement comes as you meet regularly with a small group for prayer and accountability. Equipping comes as we gather to hear in-depth teaching over a four-year cycle of college life.
The four year curriculum is centered on the Gospel. This is an outline of the four year cycle.
101: A Gospel Ambition: This year centers on expounding the glories of the Gospel. The content of the Gospel, the community shaped by the Gospel (the church), the ambition formed by the Gospel, and the empowerment to grow in the Gospel.
201: The Gospel From Cover to Cover: This year journeys from Genesis to Revelation, showing the big picture of the Bible. (This year's study)
301: The Gospel: Bearing Fruit and Increasing: This year focuses on how the Gospel transforms our character and produces love.
401: The Gospel In All of Life: This year looks to show how the Gospel transforms our approach to all of life: manhood, womanhood, marriage, family, workplace, and missions.
We alternate weeks between the small group meetings and the large group meeting. We call the small group "Little-Discipleship" or "Little D" and the large group (where the small groups come together) is called "Big D." Check the schedule before you come to see if it is a Big D time or a Little D time.
Want in a small group? The easiest way to get into a small group is to attend one of the big discipleship times. You can also e-mail Daniel Renstrom (daniel@pray.org).
Need a ride? Meet us at the Talley Student Center steps by the ATM machines at 6:15 p.m. each Tuesday we have Big D. If you need a ride to your Little D group, contact Daniel Renstrom (daniel@pray.org) or your small group leader if you have one already.
