Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”

Join us as we help our unbelieving friends explore the life of Jesus through this brief study of the gospel of Mark. Our desire is to see you and your believing friends partner together to lead a small group on a study entitled “Christianity Explained.”

What is Christianity Explained?

A four to six week study on the basics of the life of Christ and the Gospel from the book of Mark. The sessions are as follows:

Session 1: Jesus: the Son of God
Session 2: Jesus: His Crucifixion
Session 3: Jesus: His Resurrection
Session 4: Salvation: Grace not Works
Session 5: Salvation: What is a Christian? (Repentance)
Session 6: Salvation: What is a Christian? (Faith)

Our Plan:

Now: Begin praying now about starting a group and who will be your co-leader (same gender) and where your group should meet. Approach them about it and begin praying together for your group. Identify the location of your study.

Mid-March: Approach your unbelieving friends about participating in the study (Ideas: Exploring why Christians celebrate the resurrection for Easter, the basics of Christianity, what you believe, etc.)

March 28: Attend the training luncheon to go over the plan and get the material. Register by e-mailing Daniel Renstrom (daniel@pray.org).

Week of March 28: Start your group this week  in order to finish the study before the semester ends.
