Community HOPE – Raleigh Gardens
The goal of the Community HOPE is to help students see the hope for their future, rooted in the principles found in Jeremiah 29:11. Through literacy development and building caring relationships, we match volunteer mentors with at-risk students. Providence is partnering with this program to help minister to our neighbors in Raleigh Gardens. ESL (English as a Second Language) Ministry

ESL classes are offered every Thursday, August 26-November 18, 2010 from 7-9 p.m. Volunteers are needed for teaching, childcare, conversation classes and student recruitment. This group enables churches in a community to coordinate their resources and services so those in need are not turned away. Providence has joined this ministry model along with several other churches.
