Help us show our appreciation to our faithful volunteers. Your LIFE Class or small group can help by donating a gift basket. These baskets will be given to volunteers to commemorate milestones with LifeCare. We could not continue in ministry without volunteers and this is a way we would lie to show our gratitude. Please call the center (919-873-2440) for more details.

LifeCare is in need of the following items: Baby food, diapers (any size), wipes, gently used strollers and other baby equipment, bibs, pacifiers, size 1 and 2 diapers, baby wipes, hand towels and baby wash cloths, receiving blankets, baby shoes (small), boys winter clothes (0-6 months), gift cards for Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart and gas stations. Please contact the center if would like to donate any of the listed items.

Gateway

Gateway is a ministry of LifeCare (formerly Life Care Pregnancy Center) with a new location in downtown Raleigh near N.C. State University on Hillsborough St. We are in need of adult volunteers to counsel students who come in for pregnancy and STD testing and peer counseling. Full training will be provided.

We will serve the 36,000 students of:
St. Augustine’s College
NC State University
Meredith College
Peace College
Shaw University
and residents of the downtown Raleigh area.

College students are among the most sexually broken population, yet, at our current location LifeCare sees very few of these students each year. As a sexual health and consulting services resource center, Gateway will be easily accessible to any student attending these schools via public transportation, walking or driving.

Please consider joining Gateway as a volunteer. We need men and women who have a love for Jesus and a heart for college students to come alongside us as we reach out to the students in Raleigh. There are many ways you can help.

Contact Leah Horton for more information (833-0096).
