Community Ministries
Proclaiming salvation, release and recovery to the Raleigh community.
Providence’s Community Ministries desires to equip and encourage the body of Christ to help meet the physical and spiritual needs of those in the Raleigh area. Jesus speaks of meeting such needs in Luke 4:18-19, “The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed me to preach Good News to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
Whether it is through serving with Habitat for Humanity, bringing families Thanksgiving dinner or hosting a seminar on racial reconciliation, our mission is to share the love of Christ with the local community. To help us accomplish this goal, we seek to acquaint the family of faith with the unique characteristics of different cultures and facilitate reconciliation among people of diverse backgrounds.
