Raising Up Leaders for the Kingdom
In order to better equip Christians to lead and affect their churches, communities and the world, Providence has developed the Equipping Center for Church Development (ECCD). The purpose of the ECCD is to prepare church leaders and congregations for a spiritually healthy and strategically sound ministry through teaching, training and the promotion of principle-based ministry. This is currently done through three programs: the pastoral intern program is for seminary students and graduates, the Advanced Leadership Training program is for lay leaders who strive to build their leadership qualities and pastors' conferences are designed to offer spiritual refreshment and sharpening for those currently engaged in ministry.
