Hospitality Ministry

The Hospitality Ministry at Providence desires to show the love of Christ to each guest who visits us. We use a curb-to-curg mentality that allows us to greet visitors the moment they drive into the parking lot until the moment they leave. Each hospitality volunteer ensures that visitors know that they are a priority at Providence.

Here are a few ways to serve in this ministry:

Parking

Begin someone's visit to Providence with courteous guidance to a parking space. Responsibilities include directing first-timers to visitor parking and setting up cones and other items to ensure drivers navigate to appropriate spaces

Greeting

Give a warm welcome, a smile and an open door to those coming to worship and direct first-time visitors to the welcome center.

Welcome Center and Welcome Kiosk

"How do I get to…?" "Where is the nursery?" "Do you have classes for…?" Help provide answers to these questions and more for Sunday morning attendees.

Ushering

Anyone who has attended one of our worship services knows how vital our ushers are! Help distribute bulletins, direct worshipers to a seat and collect the weekly offering.

To serve, one must fulfill the following three requirements.

  • Provide a brief written testimony of how you came to know Christ as Lord.
  • Begin the membership process at Providence, if you are not already a member.
  • Complete the hospitality training.
