Our lives are fast-paced, moving from one task to another, just trying to keep up with everything life throws at us.
It's hard to stop and think about what is going on around us. It's even rarer to consider how God is moving through our efforts and the efforts of those around us.
We all need to moments in our year where we stop and remember. From Thanksgiving, Christmas, Memorial Day, birthdays, to anniversaries, each of these days help us to slow down and remember something good and true.
At Providence, we want to slow down and remember God's goodness as much as possible. One moment in the year we particularly enjoy is the end of one ministry year and the beginning of a new one. Yes, a new year is exciting, but we believe that reflecting on the previous year is what will help propel us together to what God has called us to do.
Celebrate with us on Sunday, August 19. And let's get ready for what God has in store for us this next fall and spring.
8 // 9:30 // 11 AM
Services will go on like normal... sorta. During the morning services we'll share encouraging and inspiring stories from the previous year, give thanks to God, enjoy some Chick-fil-a chicken minis and other snacks, and hear an encouraging message on how we can celebrate even when we don't feel like it.
5 – 8 PM // New Life Camp
We'll cap the day off by enjoying a picnic together and then enjoying some baptisms at the lake. Dinner and drinks are provided at no charge. Consider bringing a lawn chair and carpool if possible.
