End Of Year Giving

As December 31 approaches, you may need to ensure that a gift is eligible to be tax deductible for the 2018 calendar tax year. If so, please note the following:

  • For checks or cash, the gift must be physically delivered to Providence by 3 PM on Monday, December 31, 2018, or if mailing, the envelope must be postmarked by December 31, 2018.
  • For online gifts, the gift transaction must be submitted by 11:59 PM on December 31, 2018.
  • For gifts of stock, please go ahead and begin consulting your account manager now as many of these gift transactions can take up to two weeks to process. Providence must receive the gift in our account before the close of business on December 31, 2018.
