Kid's Life

Babies – 5th Grade

All kids, from babies – 5th grade are invited to join us each Sunday morning to learn about Jesus and the great stories of the Bible. The team at the children’s welcome desk in the lobby of the Kids Building is available to answer your questions.

Nursery (Babies & Ones)

8 – 9:15 AM, 9:30 – 10:45 AM, 11 AM – 12:15 PM

Children are welcome to stay two of the three worship hours. When you are ready, your child is welcome in our classes no matter their age. We have a dedicated, experienced team of caregivers who gently care for our little ones each week.

For your convenience, our check-in system is located on the Nursery hall. If you need help, our hospitality team will assist you. Additionally, we offer a weekly check-in sheet in each room for parents to notify teachers of specific feeding and changing needs.

  • Please label all your baby's items, including infant carriers.
  • Sheets, blankets and toys are sanitized weekly.
  • A nursing room is located in room 101.
  • The health and safety of all children is important to us. Please abide by our Healthy Child Policy stated below.

8 – 9:15 AM, 9:30 – 10:45 AM, 11 AM – 12:15 PM

All children ages 0-4 are welcome to stay two of the three worship hours. Our preschool children spend Sunday mornings learning the truths of God's word through lessons designed for their specific ages. They will also engage in play time, snacks, outdoor time (weather permitting), crafts, and music. Preschool is a great age to begin to develop a love for Jesus. We are honored to partner with you in discipling your little one!

Elementary (K – 5th Grade)

9:30 – 10:45 AM & 11 AM – 12:15 PM

Kindergarten through 5th graders are welcome to attend a 9:30 or 11:00 class. We encourage you to attend a worship service as a family during one of the service times.

Our elementary teachers are fully committed to sharing the truths of the gospel with each kid in their class. We see the elementary years as the most opportune time for kids to be awed by the God of the universe, establish a foundational relationship with Jesus, and begin their own personal walk of faith. We're here to encourage them and partner with parents in discipleship.

Safety and security is a priority at PBC Kids, so we have some specific policies to create a safe environment. Each child should be checked in at one of the kiosks in the Kids Lobby and then escorted by a parent to their classroom. Parents must then pick up their child at the end of the hour. No child is allowed to leave the classroom without a parent and a matching security tag.

Check-In & Security

Your child's security is important to us. We use our computer system to provide security and convenience for our families. This is an electronic check-in system that speeds up check in procedures any time your child attends a children's event at the church. This system provides added security while your child is at church and eliminates the need to fill out forms at the room.

Once you’ve created your account, checking in will be easy. Once you check in, a name tag and a corresponding claim check will print out for all of your children. Your kids names and room assignments print right on their name tag, as well as any information the teachers need to know (allergies, etc.). There are check-in stations throughout the Children's areas on the first floor.

Healthy Child Policy

We want to provide a healthy environment in our classrooms, so we ask you to keep your child at home when any of the following have occurred within the last 24 hours.

  • Fever/Vomiting
  • Drainage from the eye(s)
  • Green or yellow runny nose
  • Frequent cough
  • Diarrhea
  • Questionable rash
  • Sore throat

If your child becomes ill while in the classroom, you will be notified promptly. If your child is being treated with an antibiotic, he or she should have received treatment for at least 24 hours before coming to the classroom.

Kids With Special Needs

We have a team of volunteers who have a heart for kids with special needs. On Sunday mornings we offer a buddy who will adjust to your child's specific needs. We want you to know that your child is welcome and loved. We'll work with you to provide the level of assistance needed for your child so that they can learn about Jesus in a loving and safe environment while you attend worship service or Life Group. So that we can serve you better, contact Cindy at . and let her know you'd like to visit so she can answer any questions and make sure we have a volunteer to support your child if necessary for your first Sunday.
