On the fourth Wednesday of each month (except November and December), married and engaged couples meet in the amphitheater for The Journey from 6:45-8 p.m. Children may attend SonStation while their parents attend The Journey. Register for SonStation by the Monday before the meeting.

Couples' Bike Trip

Married and engaged couples are invited to gear up for two days of fun and friendship on the Virginia Creeper Trail in Abingdon, Virginia on September 18-19. Cost is $100 per couple and covers hotel, breakfast and t-shirt. Bike rentals will be available upon arrival for an additional cost. Registration for this event has been extended until September 10. Parenting Conference 2010

Mark your calendar for our annual Marriage and Parenting Conference on Sunday, September 26, and Monday evening, September 27. Dr. Gary Thomas, a well-regarded author and international Christian conference speaker, will be sharing about “Sacred Parenting – How Raising Children Shapes Our Souls.” Explore the spiritual dynamics of parenting, and why caring for children is such an effective discipline in shaping our souls and forming the character of Christ within us.
On Sunday morning, Gary will preach during each of the morning worship services. Then he will continue the teaching in two sessions on Sunday evening and one on Monday night. There is no charge or registration for the conference. Childcare will be provided for children birth through 10 years, but they must be registered for SonStation.
