Homebuilders consists of married couples ranging from those with adolescent children to those with empty nests. This quarter we will view and discuss a new DVD series by Ravi Zacharias International Ministries titled Foundations of Apologetics to deepen our biblical convictions, broaden our understanding and sharpen our skills.
The Book of Hebrews - Jeff Blau/Lacy Summers - Room 443
Jesus Christ is the perfect revelation of God and the only way to eternal life. This study of the book of Hebrews will challenge you to give yourself unreservedly and completely to Christ.
Newly Married Adults (Early 20s - Early 30s) – Brian and Jean Schmidt – Room 637
We will begin a study on stewardship, seeking to understand God’s intention for us as we examine both Old and New Testament real life examples. God’s Word will guide us into breakout topics such as Stewardship of our Time, Our Talents/Abilities, Our Treasure and His Truth.
Blueprint 2:42 – Kevin Harvey - Room 457
Studying a variety of engaging topics throughout the year, this class seeks to follow the blueprint that the first Christians in Acts modeled for us in how to serve both each other and the community. Suggested for married couples ages 25-35.
A Parental Walk through Daniel – Andy Weaver– Room 621
We will study the book of Daniel through our eyes as parents. We will explore what this book of adventure and prophesy teaches us and how we can mold these truths into our application and desire to be better parents.
11 a.m.
Family Worship Class – Mark Stowers – Room 215
This family-integrated class will emphasize the importance of family worship and Bible study. Join us for a study of Galatians and Ephesians. Families are encouraged to attend together, and children of all ages are welcome. We regularly have children from newborns to teens in the class.
That the World May Know – Jeff & Debbie Danforth - Room 638
This video series was filmed on location in Israel and is an in-depth tour of the buried, distant or otherwise forgotten places where the stories of the Bible actually happened. Class time will include the video presentation, follow-up discussion and prayer. Suggested for married couples ages 25-35.
The Book of Daniel – Jeff & Sherri Callery – Room 645
We will wrap up Sharing Your Faith with Friends and Family, a series that teaches us how to approach and talk naturally with our friends about faith and God. Then we will study the book of Daniel and learn about one of the pivotal figures during the Babylonian captivity. Suggested for married couples with young children.
Sin-The Battle of a Lifetime - Couples Bible Study - John Erwin– Room 649
In this study, we will explore the nature of sin, the believer’s call to pursue holiness, and the battle that rages between them. This class will be largely discussion-based with an emphasis on practical application. Suggested for couples in their 30's who have been married five years or less.
