Studies and Workshops

The Journey
Couples of all ages are invited to join with other couples in an adventure of exploring, discovering and applying biblical truth to marriage, family and personal character. The Journey meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month (except November and December) in the Delta Lake Center from 6:30-8 p.m. Childcare is provided by Awana for children ages three to 12. SonStation is available for children younger than three and because the Awana program is full, SonStation is available for children who are not registered for Awana. Register for SonStation here. Contact Crystal Waters (326-3000 or crystal@pray.org).

Hope and Care Studies
Hope & Care Studies are Christ-centered small groups where the Providence family and others from the community meet together under the coordination of a facilitator. We learn to apply practical principles from God's Word to find hope and to help overcome difficult issues in our lives. The Hope & Care Studies may help deal with specific marital issues or with other personal issues that can affect the quality of a marriage. Workshops
Periodically the Marriage Ministry offers workshops and studies on a variety of subjects related to marriage and family. Typically these workshops address specific topics or issues, or teach specific skills that strengthen marriage. These workshops may range from a few hours in length on a weekend to a series of evening sessions. They are led by those experienced in the topic and are open to the community. For more information on upcoming workshops, contact Bob Stancil.
