Retreats

Providence marriage retreats are wonderful for a time of fun, friendship, worship, teaching and encouragement. You will have time to relax and enjoy the beauty of the mountains or the wonder of the beach. In these times you can reflect on His Word, while you learn biblical principles that will help strengthen your marriage. We normally alternate the years these two retreats are offered. Information on our next retreat will be posted as it becomes available.

Fall Weekend to Remember
We are blessed to have the FamilyLife Weekend to Remember Conference in our area. While this is not a Providence-sponsored conference, we encourage couples to attend, especially in years that we do not provide our own retreats. The conference for 2007 is scheduled for October 20-22 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel near the Research Triangle Park. For more information about this

Providence hopes to have a group of couples going to the conference, so those attending can benefit from a reduced, group registration cost. If you plan to attend, contact Debbie Danforth or Bob Stancil (919-326-3000).




Fall Retreat at The Cove
Located on 1,600 secluded acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains just outside Asheville, the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove is a year-round Christian retreat and conference center. The first-class facilities and professional, hospitable staff offer a peaceful mountain atmosphere that will refresh and encourage you. The food is wonderful, the views are magnificent, and the mountain trails
offer many options.

On a rotating basis, we offer our marriage retreat at the Cove. Our conference and worship leaders provide an insightful and biblical opportunity to refresh and strengthen your marriage. The next fall retreat at the Cove is planned for 2008. More details will be provided closer to that time.
