In Worldliness: Resisting the Seduction of a Fallen World, C.J. Mahaney and his trusted friends seek to graciously and courageously warn us against loving and dabbling in the parts of this world that have raised their fists in rebellion to Christ. Most refreshing is the authors’ deep belief that the gospel, and not rickety forms of legalism, can effect change in the hearts of men and women. Instead of forbidding, the book seeks to instill in our hearts a biblical grid whereby we are able to rightly evaluate the various streams of media, music, modesty, and possessions. The book concludes with an excellent chapter on appropriate ways for us as believers to love this world. I highly recommend this to you!
