Weekly Studies for Women

LAMBS (Ladies A.M. Bible Study)

Come study the book of Proverbs with us! Using the book Woman of Wisdom by Myrna Alexander, we'll learn together what God's word says and apply His truths to our lives. LAMBS meets on Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11:30am. The format includes a small group discussion  and large group teaching by Cathy Horner.

Session: September 11, 2012-April, 2013
Days: Tuesdays

Time: 9:45-11:30am

Cost: $30 for materials, non-refundable

LAMBS Children's Programs

Along with our women's study we offer three programs for your children to attend while you are studying the Bible. Each program is run by trained workers who have had background checks. Specifics for each of the programs are listed below. Space is limited in these programs. After you apply you will be contacted when a decision is made.

Childcare - Infants, babies and children who will turn two after August 31, 2012. There is a $100 yearly fee for all children in childcare.
Little Lambs - Children ages 2-5. Child must turn two by August 31, 2012. There is no fee.
Homeschool Group – Kids kindergarten-5th grade who are homeschooled have a group just for them. If space is available we will accept year-round students who are tracked out.

My Evening Walk

Starting with the fall of 2012 My Evening Walk will no longer be meeting. We encourage our ladies to consider one of the other weekly study options through Providence. If you are looking for a Monday night large group study, a new co-ed study will begin with Johnny and Beth Evans. More information can be found online at www.mmnbs.com.

Precept Study

Precept women's Bible studies use materials produced by Kay Arthur and Precept Ministries International. They approach the Bible using an inductive study method, which involves three steps: observation, interpretation and application.

Monday Nights
We will the book of Ephesians. This study will transform the way you read scriptures.  The study runs January 9-March 19, 2012 at 6:45pm. There is a $24 fee for the book.

Thursday Mornings
Join us as we study the book of Zechariah. What will happen on the day when the Lord is king over all the earth? There is a future time of restoration coming for the righteous. Are you ready for that day? We meet at 9:30am in room 659. Class begins January 5 and runs until March 1. Cost of the workbook is $18.

Tuesday Evening Study

Connect with other women as we study and discuss Galatians together. We’ll be using Behold Your God by Myrna Alexander supplemented with chapters from Knowledge of the Holy by A.W. Tozer to know the Lord’s character more deeply so that we will trust Him more fully. This study will meet from January 10-April 3 in room 603 from 7-8:30pm. The cost of materials is $7.
