Awana

Awana helps churches and parents worldwide raise children and youth to know, love and serve Christ!

Awana is an acronym from 2 Timothy 2:15, "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed."

When: September-May on Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm. 
Where: Children's building (Enter on the opposite side of the Glenwood Avenue entrance) 
Who: Children age 3 (by September 1, 2011) through 5th grade. 

Children are divided by age group:

Puggles: Children who are two years old by February 28, 2011 (preferably potty trained).
Cubbies: Children who are three years old by August 31, 2011 through five year-olds.
Sparks: Kindergarten through second grade
T&T: Third through fifth grade

The evening is broken into three parts:

Handbook Time: Children recite the verses they have been working on during the week.
Council Time: Large-group teaching time when we have lessons from God's Word.
Game Time: We learn new games and play our old favorites as well.

Registration:

Registration is accepted on a first come, first served basis and costs $40 per child, with a max of $80 per family.
