SnowFest 2013
All middle school students are invited to SnowFest in February, 2013. During this weekend we will be traveling to WinterPlace in Bradley, WV for a weekend of snow tubing, fellowship and fun.
Elevate 2013
All high school students are invited to Elevate in February, 2013. During this weekend we will be traveling north for a weekend of skiing, fellowship and fun.
Joy Prom
Our 11th grade students help put on the Joy Prom every year as their graded ministry project. The Joy Prom is an opportunity to show those in our community with special needs to know that they are loved by Jesus and are precious to Him. It is a night designed to be just like a prom you went to in high school, complete with dinner and dancing, ties and formal dresses, corsages and boutonnieres, shoe shines and makeup.
Our next Joy Prom will be April 27, 2012.
Joy Prom has become one of our favorite events and has spurred other churches to start their own. A manual explaining how we plan Joy Prom, full of helpful hints and schedules, is available to download below.
Impact Summer Camp 2012
Join us for an awesome week on Lake Marion at Camp Bob Cooper in South Carolina! Impact 2012 will be exciting, challenging, inspirational and life-changing. Don't forget the many features that help make Impact the "don't miss" ministry event of the summer. You'll experience the Blob, water skiing, tubing, water slide, basketball and volleyball tournaments, high ropes course, climbing wall, Ultimate frisbee, fireworks, family groups, competitions and special evening events. The next Impact camp will be June 25-30, 2012. It will be RADICAL.
Metamorphosis 2012
Metamorphosis 2012 will take place November 9-11, 2012. This is an incredible weekend you don’t want to miss! We will have a speaker challenging us in the Word, as well as a band to lead us into worship. Students stay in small groups, divided by grade level and gender, in host homes throughout Raleigh. Each group not only has host home parents, but adult leaders as well. The weekend is full of large group worship rallies, small group meeting times, games, food, serving in the local community and lots of fun!
