New to Providence?
New to Providence?
Yes, it's the church in the old hotel.
When you come to Providence, we understand that it may be a bit overwhelming. If you are visiting us for the first time, stop by our guest kiosk or welcome center desk. Someone will assist you to know exactly where you need to go for worship service or LIFE classes.
Below are answers to help you feel more comfortable as you come to our church, get your children settled in Providence Kids and experience a dynamic time of worship.
What Does Providence Believe?
The purpose of Providence Baptist Church is to glorify God through His Son, Jesus Christ, the Head of the Church, in the power of the Holy Spirit. We accomplish this through the biblical means of evangelism, edification and exaltation. To find out more about what Providence believes, click the button below.
What About My Children?
Sunday Mornings and Sunday Evenings - Providence Kids provides programs for children birth-fifth grade. They review Bible verses with the babies and go over Bible stories with one-year-olds, so that each child has a class where they are learning more about God's Word. We offer a safe environment and secure facility.
Wednesday Evening - Childcare is provided for Birth- two years old. Awana is available for children three through 10 years old.
Providence's Student Ministries is for students from sixth grade to high school seniors. Their purpose is to spread the fame of God by raising up a godly generation through the cooperative efforts of family, friends and the family of faith—the power of three.
What Is The Worship Service Like?
At Providence, we seek to equip and enable people to engage in worship in three specific areas: corporate worship, family worship and personal worship. We believe that in order to be a fully devoted follower of Christ, one must know what true worship is and how to be a worshiper.

How Do I Connect?
Known to some as Sunday school, LIFE classes are our small group Bible studies. These studies are designed to teach God's truths, equip people to live authentic Christian lives and provide community and accountability. Studies are offered on Sundays at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.What Should I Wear?
At Providence we encourage you to come as you are. God sees our heart and that's what He cares about; it's not about the style of clothing we choose. Just so you'll know, most people attend wearing business-casual attire. Don't be surprised if you see a few suits and ties, as well as many people wearing jeans.
Where Do I Park?
If you are a guest to our church, we invite you to use the guest spaces available directly in front of the church. Simply flash your car lights when you enter the Providence parking lot, and our parking attendants will direct you to a space.
