    • Community HOPE Tutoring

      Providence College Ministry is so excited to be partnering with Community Hope this semester. Community Hope is a program at Providence that teaches reading skills and comprehension to elementary age children who reside in Raleigh Gardens. They are looking for reading tutors for one -hour time slots. Reading curriculum is provided.

      • ATCS Forum – The Problem of Evil

        March 25, 2012

        Dr. Bruce Ware, Professor of Christian Theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary will help us deal with one of the great objections to Christianity, the problem of evil. Dr. Ware will walk us through in depth answers to questions such as "How can God be good in a world with
        so much suffering and affliction?" Join us in the worship center Sunday, March 25 at 6pm. Registration is not necessary. SonStation is provided for children from birth to three years.

    • Myrtle Beach Show Trip

      April 17, 2012 - April 19, 2012

      There is still time to sign-up for the Myrtle Beach Show Trip April 17-19 for adults 55+. Cost of $275 includes motorcoach transportation, lodging (double occupancy), four meals, two evening shows (Alabama Theatre and Carolina Opry), Brookgreen Gardens, Le Grand Cirque Adrenaline show, and much more. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis with deposit or full payment. Spaces are only reserved when a deposit/payment has been received.       Get ready to dress up and have some fun!

      This event is especially designed for people ages 16 and older with developmental and/or physical impairments. If an attendee has specific medical, communication or behavioral issues, they are required to have a chaperone. Parents and caregivers are welcome to join us in the hospitality suite during the dance or join us on the dance floor! For complete information on the Joy Prom click here.

      March 29, 2012

      Are you looking to connect with women at Providence or to meet a new friend?  If so, join us for our popular "Women's Friendship Dinner” on Thursday evening, March 29 from 6:30-8:30 pm. You will be matched up with other ladies who live in general proximity to you.  Most homes will hostess 6-8 ladies and each person will be asked to bring a dish to share. Please consider inviting a friend or neighbor to join you! It’s a great opportunity to enjoy fellowship in a very warm environment.  There is no cost, but pre-registration is required to help match you to a hostess home. After you register you will receive a confirmation email with the location and hostess of your dinner.  Register online by March 19.

      Precept women's Bible studies use materials produced by Kay Arthur and Precept Ministries International. They approach the Bible using an inductive study method, which involves three steps: observation, interpretation and application.
