Plan A Visit

A new church, especially a large one can feel overwhelming to a new guest. It is our goal to help you know what to expect and feel comfortable as soon as you arrive. We have a team of friendly faces ready to greet and guide you and your family during your first experience at Providence.

Pick A Worship Service Time

8, 9:30 & 11 AM

No matter which service time you attend, you will hear the same worship songs and message at each.

Who Can Attend?

Sunday morning worship services at Providence are open to all regardless of age, gender, religious belief, disability, handicap, race or ethnicity.

Physical Disability/Handicap

We offer several locations in the worship center for wheelchairs for those needing additional space. Please see one of our ushers for assistance or stop by the Guest Services desk in next to the entrance to the worship center. Handicap parking is available near the main entrance of the building.

Children are an important part of Providence. We provide quality care in a safe and secure environment, where sharing the love of Christ is our central goal. We offer childcare for birth-age 4 during all three services. Classes for elementary aged children are available at the 9:30 and 11 AM services. When you arrive, visit our Guest Services desk. They will guide you to our Children’s Atrium where you will use our state-of-the-art check-in system. Please plan on arriving 15 minutes before your desired service so that you won't miss the start of the service.

Children with Special Needs

We have a special team that serves you and your child so you know you are welcomed and loved. We'll work with you to provide the appropriate level of assistance needed for your child so they can learn about Jesus in a loving and safe environment while you attend worship service or Life Group. Visit the desk in the Children's Atrium when you arrive or contact Cindy McClure before you come.

We offer solid, practical biblical studies for middle school and high school students in an engaging atmosphere during the 11 AM service. Middle school and high school students meet by grade on the third floor.

What To Wear

Dress comfortably. We want you to be at ease. Most of our attendees wear smart casual, but we cover the spectrum. No matter what you wear, you won’t be alone.

Providence offers on-site parking for our services and special parking for our first and second-time guests. When you arrive, please enter through the main entrance on Glenwood Avenue. Flash your hazard lights and a parking attendant will direct you to Guest Parking. If you have any questions feel free to ask anyone in an orange vest. Guest parking is conveniently located near the front entrance to our building. Plan on arriving 15 minutes before your desired service if you plan on checking your children into childcare or a class.

Guest Services

As you walk through the main entrance, our friendly greeters will welcome you. If you need help finding the Guest Services desk our greeters will be able to direct you. The Guest Services desk is directly in front of you as you walk in the main entrance. Simply let them know that is your first time visiting Providence and let them take care of you from there!

Worship Center

The Worship Center is to the right as you enter from the main entrance. You are welcome to sit in any available seat. If the service has already begun and you need assistance finding a seat, an usher will help guide you. If there are no available seats you're invited to join in on our simulcast of the service in the Amphitheater right next to the Worship Center.

Worship Services

Each service is comprised of a combination of music, teaching, and prayer lasting around 70 minutes.

Each morning's set list is designed to lead you into worship and to think deeply about the many great truths about God. You are encouraged to stand, sit, raise your hands and sing your heart out!

Typically our Senior Pastor, Brian Frost, will preach all three services, however at times other pastors will preach one service and sometimes all three. Regardless of who preaches, the message is based on the same scripture for all three services. Preaching is usually around 40 minutes.

Lord's Supper

On the first Sunday of every month we take the Lord's Supper together. This time is designated specifically for followers of Christ. We would ask that if that does not describe you that you not participate in the bread and the cup, but if you have questions please reach out to one of our deacons at the end of the service near the platform or at NextSteps in the main lobby.

Baptism services are usually on Sunday evenings, but a couple of times a year we will celebrate baptism in the morning services.

Next Steps

At the end of each service a teaching pastor, elder, or deacon is available to answer any questions that may have emerged during the teaching time. Once you’ve experienced a Sunday morning with us, you may be ready to take the next step. You may be interested in learning more about Life Groups or church membership. Please visit our Next Steps area in the main lobby and they will be happy to assist you.
