Providence's Media Library provides resources and services to advance learning about God, stimulate Christian growth, enrich worship experiences and enable the ministry of members and leaders of our church in their obedience to the Great Commission. We have a wide selection of media available for a variety of ages.

Location

The library is located in room 233 at Providence Baptist Church.

Library Hours

Sundays from 9-9:30am and 10:30-11:15am.
You may also come by appointment Monday-Friday, 8:30-5pm.

How To's

Things to remember when you check out materials from the library:

  1. Church members, LIFE class members, regular visitors and others by special arrangement may check out books from the library. No library card is required.
  2. Books can be checked out for two weeks. Videos and audiocassettes can be checked out for one week.
  3. Borrowing is limited to five books and two videos or audiocassettes.
  4. Borrowers will need to reimburse the library for the replacement cost of lost items.

Media Donations

The library welcomes donations of books, videos, CDs, DVDs and audiocassettes. Items that cannot be used are passed along to another library or person.

The library also welcomes monetary donations to purchase new books and videos to honor or memorialize individuals. You may choose a title from a list available from the library director. The library director makes the purchase, processes the items for circulation and notifies the individual honored or the family of the individual memorialized.
