High School Retreat
January 29-31, 2010
Join us for the High School Ski Retreat to Wintergreen Ski Resort on January 29-31. Located in Waynesboro, VA, Wintergreen offers 27 trails for you to try. You’ll enjoy a great time of skiing, building friendships and spending time relaxing and reflecting in God’s presence.
Friday – Travel, dinner and activities
Saturday – Ski all day
Sunday – Worship, lunch and travel home (return by 3 p.m.)
Trip Package Includes
- Hotel lodging for 3 days and 2 nights

- Lift tickets
- Breakfast and lunch on Saturday
- Breakfast on Sunday
Bring money for Friday dinner, Saturday dinner and Sunday lunch.
There will be a slope-side condominium for us to enjoy during the day on Saturday. The condo will be adult supervised and available all day to relax, warm up, eat a hot lunch, hang out and enjoy some hot chocolate!
Before the Retreat
You must get fitted for skis/snowboard at Action Ski (620 Tower St., Raleigh, NC 27607, Phone: 833-5842, Fax: 833-5012). The fitting days are December 14-17, 3-7 p.m., or you can fax rental information using the form at www.actionskitrips.com. The amount due to Providence for each participant is $210, which includes boots and skis.
If you would like to rent bibs, goggles, gloves, upgrade to a snowboard or ski blades, or get a ski lesson (recommended for first-time skiers), you must make arrangements with Action Ski and pay them for these additional items. Please do not pay the difference to Providence.
Deadlines
A non-refundable deposit of $100 and a notarized 2010 medical form are due by Sunday, December 6. Final payment is due no later than Sunday, December 20. If you have any questions, contact Stephanie Wood (326-3000).

You will also need to return a notarized 2010 Medical Form. You will be prompted to view and print this form during the registration process.
