Women's Ministry
Bible Studies
LIFE Bible Studies
Known to some as Sunday school, these small group Bible studies are the backbone of the Adult Ministries. Women may attend any of the LIFE Bible studies, which are held on Sunday mornings. Study the Bible with a warm group of caring women from all ages and stages of life. This fall we will study the faithful and unfaithful women of the Bible. We will apply the lessons we learn from the Scriptures to our modern-day lives. This study meets in room 603 at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday. LAMBS (Ladies A.M. Bible Study)
Morning Study
This study meets on Tuesdays from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and usually runs from early September to early May. The format includes a small group discussion time and a large group time taught by Beth Evans. LAMBS studies a book of the Bible each year. A children’s program (2-5 year olds) is offered in conjunction with this study. Space is filled in this year's children’s program. Childcare is also provided for children under 2 years old at an additional fee. Both you and your child(ren) must pre-register for this study. For more information, call Diane Youmans (845-9588).
Registration Fee:
There is a $25 registration fee and an additional fee for children younger than 2 years. This fee will be determined at a later date and is payable once your child is accepted into the program (late summer). The children’s program is currently full.

My Evening Walk
My Evening Walk, a Bible study for women led by Cathy Horner, began Monday, September 8, 2008 at 7 p.m. This year they will use Beth Moore's new and updated study of the Old Testament Tabernacle called A Woman's Heart: God's Dwelling Place. Through this study you will discover the parallels between the Tabernacle's construction and your life as a chosen vessel of God. You can register online below or print out a registration. Please note: you must register by Sunday, September 7 to participate in the first night small group introductory session.

Precept Study
Precept women's Bible studies use materials produced by Kay Arthur and Precept Ministries International. They approach the Bible using an inductive study method, which involves three steps: observation, interpretation and application. The Monday evening Precept group will be studying Isaiah 40-66 from September 8-November 24 from 6:45-9 p.m. The Thursday morning and evening groups will be studying 1 Kings 1-15 and 2 Chronicles 1-13 from September 4 through the end of October. The Thursday morning Precept meets from 9:30-11:45 a.m. and the evening study meets from 6:45-9 p.m. All studies meet in room 659. For information on the current Precept Bible studies available, contact Becky Estes (919-326-3000).
