As I searched the Word of the name El Chuwl, I found that it is rich and in so many verses where He reminds us that He is the one who gives us life. I was so encouraged by His word; the only way I could see to show you this richness was to put some of them together into a prayer. I’ve changed some pronouns but otherwise tried to keep the words as they are in each verse. So, pray with me and know that I am praying that you personally experience anew the God who gave you life.
Let us kneel before You, Oh Lord our Maker; You who form the hearts of all and considers everything we do. We know that the Lord, You are God! It is You who made us, and we are Yours (Hallelujah!).
You created my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. Your hands made me and fashioned me. You granted me life and steadfast love. You formed me for Yourself that I might declare Your praise. Even before You formed me in the womb, you knew me. You will not forget me, and You will help me.
So now, O Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You are our potter. We are in Your hand and are the work of Your hand. Do not forsake the work of your hand. Fulfill your purpose for us. Make us to know that Your steadfast love (toward us) endures forever! You created us for Your glory; be glorified!
