What is Christmas at Providence?

Each December, Providence remembers and celebrates the birth of Jesus over 2,000 years ago.

You may wonder why the birth of Jesus is so important. You may wonder how something so long ago could have any bearing on your life today.

We all wonder. We all seek joy and purpose.

Join us throughout the month as we explore and wonder about life’s biggest questions through the lens of the Christmas story.

We live in a world that makes us wonder. We wonder about our decisions and why we feel the way we do. We wonder if God is near, what God is doing, and why God is waiting. So what makes you wonder? People of every culture have wondered about the same things. There is good news! Jesus can bring purpose and clarity into our lives. Imagine how sweet it would be this Christmas if God replaced the questions that make us wonder with a joyful sense of wonder. This gift is available to us!

Throughout December, we’ll answer important questions through the lens of the Christmas story. Each topic will be covered during worship services on Sundays at 8, 9:30 & 11 AM unless noted otherwise.
