Re | Engage Marriage Class

Recent statistics estimate 41% of first time marriages end in divorce. That is a staggering figure. If it is true, then almost half of all first time marriages will end in broken relationships. With numbers like that, it’s easy to get discouraged. And with the challenges that marriage can bring, we can fall further into the belief that it’s just not worth it, or that it can never change. But marriage is a good gift from a good God. And the power of the Gospel is proof that restoration of relationship is possible. At Providence, we believe marriage is a good gift from God that is worth a healthy investment. This is why we would love to invite you to participate in one of our Re|Engage Study Groups this fall. Re|engage is a Gospel-centered marriage curriculum that is produced by Watermark Church in Dallas, Texas, and used in hundreds of churches around the country. The principles and applications are designed to equip couples with resources to live out a God-honoring marriage whether they already have a great relationship with their spouse or are currently struggling in their marriage relationship. Re|engage is for marriages of any length, and any health. If your marriage is strained, Re|Engage can help address those tensions from a Gospel-centered, biblical perspective. If you have been happily married for decades, but want to give attention to your marriage, Re|Engage is designed to do just that.

There will be 2 classes offered on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:45 AM and 2 classes offered from 7-9 PM on Wednesday evenings. The Sunday morning sessions will begin Aug. 6th and end Nov. 19th. Wednesday evening sessions will begin Aug. 9th and end Nov. 15th. Childcare vouchers are available upon request for Wednesday evenings. Cost is $24 per couple (cost includes 2 workbooks). Registration is required.
