This is a meaningful chance to share the love of Christ. Volunteers connect with students one-on-one or in small groups for read-aloud sessions. No prior teaching experience is required, just patience, empathy and a love of Christ! Once you register below, you'll receive confirmation and additional school district forms to complete prior to volunteering. You can sign up to read with students on one or multiple days based on your availability. We look forward to welcoming new reading buddies! REGISTER

Event Series GriefShare

Navigating grief and loss can seem overwhelming. While everyone’s response to loss is unique, people facing loss and grief will experience many of the same challenges. We want to offer a group that will help you better navigate the challenges of grief and hope in the Lord in the process. At GriefShare, you will learn how to navigate this challenging season. It is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Each week, you will watch a video with your group and have a small group discussion led by your leaders. The group will begin on March 6th and will end June 5th. They will meet weekly on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm in room 216. Registration is required. Cost is $10 for the workbook. REGISTER

Event Series Re | Engage Marriage Class

Re | Engage Marriage Class

https://youtu.be/Moaag9LTwDo Wednesday Evening Registration   Recent statistics estimate 41% of first time marriages end in divorce. That is a staggering figure. If it is true, then almost half of all first time marriages will end in broken relationships. With numbers like that, it’s easy to get discouraged. And with the challenges that marriage can bring, we can fall further into the belief that it’s just not worth it, or that it can never change. But marriage is a good gift from a good God. And the power of the Gospel is proof that restoration of relationship is possible. At Providence, we believe marriage is a good gift from God that is worth a healthy investment. This is why we would love to invite you to participate in one of our Re|Engage Study Groups this fall. Re|engage is a Gospel-centered marriage curriculum that is produced by Watermark Church in Dallas, Texas, and used in hundreds of churches around the country. The principles and applications are designed to equip couples with resources to live out a God-honoring marriage whether they already have a great relationship with their spouse or are currently struggling in their marriage relationship. Re|engage is for marriages of any […]
