My 44-year-old, seemingly healthy brother had a heart attack two days after Christmas. He had a 100% blockage on a branch of the LAD, which was fixed with a stent. He faces a new lifestyle ahead (diet & exercise) and this is quite a wake-up call for him and the rest of my immediate family. I pray he can make a full recovery, and in doing so, be an inspiration to the rest of my family who might be next in line for a heart attack if we don’t make similar changes. Thankful for his girlfriend who urged him to go to the hospital after ignoring the symptoms during the night.
