Please pray for Marina. She attended ACIS to prepare to bring the Gospel to Muslims in the Middle East. She graduated and was hired as a domestic helper in Saudi Arabia, basically selling herself into slavery for the ability to reach her host family. Her employer forbids her to communicate via social media or e-mail (only text messages to her family.) She will be coming home (after two years) for a visit in July – please pray for her safe travels, and that we will learn of God’s great impact through her sacrifice.

My sister-in-law’s team of physicians decided yesterday not to do the hysterectomy, but focused on blood clots in her legs and taking a biopsy. It’s been confirmed that she is in the advanced stages of ovarian cancer. The new plan is to start with chemotherapy, and then once the mass has shrunk, the doctor will do the hysterectomy. Please pray that God rids her body of cancer and that she tolerates the chemotherapy without incident. Also, please pray that she and my brother are comforted by the love and support she is receiving from her family. Thank you and thank you, God.

My dear sister-in-law, Joanne, will have surgery tomorrow, June 5 at 2:00 pm in Albany, NY. A CT scan revealed a large mass on and around her ovaries, a “spot” on her spleen and on her lung. During surgery, the doctors will take a biopsy to make a definitive diagnosis, and they will attempt to do a total hysterectomy. Chemotherapy will follow. Please pray that God rids her body of all disease. Please pray for guidance and wisdom for her doctors to help her and for my brother to have faith that Joanne will be healed.

The Bambara are the largest and most dominant group in Mali. The Bambara are majority Muslim. However, many people still follow their traditional beliefs in ancestor worship. Mali is not very hospitable to Christian workers, so pray for creative means of access. Pray for the followers of Jesus among the Bambara, that they will live holy lives and be a shining testimony of the Lord’s goodness to their own people.
From David, Harrison’s Father. Harrison was arrested on drug charges. Harrison has been given an opportunity from a judge to go through a rehab process and avoid the charges. Be praying as his Dad requests below:
Please pray that I can help him find a place to stay. He is with Mary which is very unhealthy and texted me last night asking if I could come to get him which I could not. I am really afraid he is being set up to fail. He has nowhere to live, a job, etc. which prevents him from meeting the requirements of the program. Mom said he cannot live at the house in Timberlake. I am starting to feel desperate, the consequences are severe. I am having surgery on my leg next Wednesday.
