I had put in a prayer request earlier this month for my daughter’s surgery to remove a tumor from her breast. The surgery went smoothly. She did get news back on her tumor and, while it wasn’t what we wanted to hear, we trust that God is in control. The tumor was malignant and the oncologist/surgeon wants to go in and get more tissue and then have her get a dose of radiation about six weeks after surgery. She was understandably disappointed at the news and we prayed with her, as we know that nothing is a surprise to God. The surgery is tentatively scheduled for March 29. There are a lot of questions that we have about the treatment, potential side effects, chances for recovery, and potential reoccurrence. Please pray for my daughter’s spirits and wisdom moving forward.
