Providence Student Ministry exists to glorify God by introducing all middle and high school students to Jesus Christ to grow them up to love and worship Him. We seek to partner with parents in discipling the next generation to love God’s word, exalt Jesus in their lives, and equip them for the mission to go and make disciples.

Student Life Groups: Gather on the 3rd floor for life groups to fellowship, dive into scripture, and discuss key doctrines of the Christian faith using specific curriculum. Classes are combined by grade and gender. We have two main hours (9:30 & 11 AM) for students to attend while the other hour we encourage you to worship together with the church family. Both hours are provided to help support family engagement at Providence.

Refinery (6-7:30pm): During the Spring, our students will gather as a large group in Prisms to worship, then transition to small groups (grade & gender separate) to help students build godly relationships, accountability, and apply truths related to topic. This semester we will walk through the book of Judges. Our hope is that students will see God’s faithfulness to His people despite their constant rejection and cycle of disobedience we see displayed within their lives. The book of Judges provides both a warning and an invitation not to do what seems right in our own eyes, but to follow and obey the Lord.

Summer Camp is an invitation to spend a week disconnected from everyday environments to experience Christian community, gospel-centered teaching, and fun activities.

As a parent of middle school or high school student, you face unique challenges. We desire to support parents with resources to help them meet these challenges.

We are so excited that your student is considering baptism!  If your student has made a profession of faith and is ready to be baptized, we want to help facilitate the process.

As a first step, we offer a Family Baptism Class that is encouraged for students who are desiring to be baptized.  This two-part class is designed for parents to participate with their students.  Session 1 (for parents only) will help parents to have salvation and baptism conversations with their child.  Session 2 (for parents and students) will walk through the gospel, core Christian beliefs, and our theology and practice of baptism.

Upon completion of the class, parents are able to schedule a baptism conversation with a member of Providence’s pastoral team to affirm a student’s readiness for baptism and then to schedule their baptism date.

Click below for future baptism dates, to register for the next Family Baptism Class, and to sign up for baptism.

Make an eternal impact on a student’s life! We have volunteer opportunities for students and adults.
